Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Below, we have tried to answer the most common questions that visitors to our web site may have. If you find that your question is not answered on this page, please email us.
Q. How can I book an engagement with you?
Mary: The best way to book Morris and me is to complete the form entitled, Please Tell us About Your Event. This form is on the "Contact Us" page. The link to "Contact Us" is in the upper-left-hand corner of this page.
The "Contact Us" page also contains our email and "Snail Mail" addressees.
Q. Are you affiliated with a denomination?
Mary: We have spoken to a variety of denominational and nondenominational groups and try to respect their foundational beliefs. When we speak to secular gatherings, we try to abide by the guidelines of the group.
Q. If you speak to my group or church what can I expect?
Mary: When we speak to secular groups, we offer encouragement and hope. For churches and other Christian groups, we share a true testimony of God's amazing love and challenge your people to believe for Him to work in their own lives.
Q. Can I get an audio recording to see if you’re right for my people?
Mary: Yes. Let us know the group with which you are affiliated and we will be happy to send you a tape/CD for which you must specify a preference. There is a $6.00 charge (USD) for each recording to cover the cost of duplication and mailing.
Q. Do you sing or have musicians?
Mary: I sang alto and second soprano as a young girl. However, my allergies are such that I cannot depend on my singing voice all year long. Therefore, I limit my presentations to the spoken word.
Morris: I make a joyful noise unto the Lord, and that’s about it.
Q. Do you have any books or articles?
Mary: While I have written two books and book proposals for others, we are still looking for a publisher for them. I have contributed to three books by other authors. My work has also appeared in several magazines and newsletters.
Q: Why does Mary speak to groups while Morris doesn’t?
Morris: Mary is prettier to look at than I am! I know better than to try to do something that God has not called me to do. However, I have felt Him leading me to use my technical knowledge to make Mary look good and sound good. I can also use the abilities that God gave me to make her recordings the best they can be. I am the webmaster for this site.
I also haul our equipment so that Mary is free to chat with people at events and to make them feel welcome. She writes, creates, and speaks while I make her products work in the computer. It’s a cooperative effort that works for us. When you book Mary, you get me as part of the package. I’ll be the gray-haired guy in glasses with the dusty knees hovering near an electrical outlet.
Q. Is Mary Hunt Webb related to Mary Hunt, the money coach and popular author?
Morris: No. They are not related.
